Codit and Axon Olympus, ICT services providers specializing in
business integration, have agreed to join forces for their research
and development activities. They will also deliver joint Managed
Services in the Netherlands. Sharing knowledge in particular will
help both companies to keep pace with the emerging evolutions in
ICT technologies. Joining forces in Managed Services will help each
company to expand its customer portfolio and its range of services.
Axon Olympus operates in the Netherlands and Codit serves its
worldwide customers from its offices in Belgium and France. Both
companies are expert in ICT integration with Microsoft technology
and deliver consultancy, implementation projects and managed
services with regard to business integration.
Sharing knowledge and unit R&D
This agreement originated from a desire to share knowledge and
unite forces on research and development. Both companies strongly
invest in education and apply a well-organized policy for internal
knowledge sharing. Sessions in which employees internally pass on
knowledge to others, for instance via webinars, will now be open to
all employees of both companies. The product development teams will
also collaborate and share expertise about Microsoft technology,
which is the technological foundation of the integration solutions
of both Codit and Axon Olympus.
Sharing knowledge to speed up product development certainly is a
strong benefit in the ICT market, which is extremely heterogeneous
and which constantly changes. There is a huge diversity in
applications and platforms available on the market today, which
will keep on expanding through the evolutions in cloud computing,
at a pace never seen. Also Microsoft continuously pushes its
Enterprise product portfolio.
The integration of different applications and its management is
complex and will experience severe challenges due to an increasing
demand for changes. Because neither Codit nor Axon Olympus are
willing to lose its high level of innovation and technological
progress, this strategic collaboration is a great opportunity for
both companies.
