What You’ll Learn
During the workshop, we will take a deep dive into the use of Azure IoT and Digital Twins. Codit’s IoT lead, Steven De Lausnay, and Microsoft’s IoT Specialist Director, Patrick Ward, will take you through a session of two halves. The first two hours will be business-orientated, exploring example scenarios and use cases specific to your industry. After 12:30, there will be a hands-on lab with a demo and case study of Digital Twins in smart offices.

Steven De Lausnay is Codit’s IoT Lead. He designs and delivers IoT solutions for several domains, focusing primarily on manufacturing and energy. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with customers and showing them how IoT can both bring them additional value and transform their business. He has a technical background with several years of practical experience, and is certified with Microsoft Azure.
Patrick Ward is Director of Sales Strategy with the IoT Partner Team for Microsoft in EMEA. The IoT Partner Team supports Microsoft’s strategic customers and partners globally to leverage the power of Internet of Things (IoT) to transform their businesses, focusing on the business value of connected device solutions.
Patrick began his career in Product Development at Nortel and has led various leadership roles in UK, Canada and Ireland across telecoms, internet retail, financial services and cloud computing.
A native of Dublin, Patrick has a Degree in Electronic Engineering from Dublin Institute of Technology and an MBA from UCD Smurfit Business School.
