Junior Accountant

Help ensure the business continuity of Codit

Over the past few years Codit has grown from an organization with 6 mio € revenue and presence in 3 countries (Belgium (HQ), France and Portugal), to an organization with a revenue of about 15 mio € and a presence in 7 different countries European countries (Belgium (HQ), France, Portugal, Switzerland, UK, The Netherlands, Malta). This evolution of our organization has been a result of strong organic growth and a merger.

To support the current size of Codit, we are looking for a Junior Accountant who will work closely together with the Group Financial Controller and oversee and control all accounting operations.

Job description

  • Execute outgoing invoicing (intercompany and third party)
  • Responsible for processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Follow-up on customers and suppliers (in an international context)
  • Manage bank accounts and payment instructions
  • Record provisions and perform reconciliations
  • Support the general accounting and make sure deadlines are met
  • Support the monthly and annual closure
  • Assist with VAT declarations

About you: your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree Accountancy-Tax law
  • A first experience is a plus but not a must
  • You are eager to learn
  • You have an analytical mindset
  • Being in close contact with customers and suppliers, you are a good communicator
  • You are a team player, flexible and willing to assist where you can
  • You speak, write and read Dutch and English fluently; French knowledge gives you an advantage!
