Senior Consultant Data Governance

At Codit, we help organizations build and run digital solutions using Microsoft technology.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant Data Governance to help our clients in the financial and governmental sector define and implement their data governance strategies.

In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into governance frameworks, policies, and platform configurations.

Key Responsibilities

·       Define and drive the Data Governance vision and approach, ensuring alignment with the broader data & AI strategy.

·       Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on data governance best practices.

·       Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end data governance frameworks.

·       Serve as the key bridge between clients and internal delivery teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.

·       Share insights and coach colleagues and clients to elevate their data governance maturity and expertise.

·       Facilitate workshops on data definitions, lineage, and quality expectations.

·       Work with tools used for data cataloguing, lineage, and data quality (ex. Collibra, Purview).

About you

• 5+ years in data governance, data management, or business analysis with a governance focus.

• Strong business analyst mindset. You can run a room of business stakeholders and translate their needs into actionable requirements.

• Hands-on experience with Collibra (configuration, implementation, or advisory).

• Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus.

• Comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders.

• Available to work on-site with clients in the Brussels area.

• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft product suite and general data & AI concepts.

• Self-driven, well-organised, and comfortable documenting and presenting your own work.

• A team player who asks for feedback and shares knowledge naturally.
