Codit UK Adds Three New Members to Leadership Team

As Microsoft’s largest European partner for integration and cloud services, Codit is experiencing growth in all countries of operation, and the UK is no exception – with 50% growth in revenue targeted for 2022.  To help drive this growth, Codit UK has appointed three new members to their leadership team.

Richard Young: Technical Director

Richard joins Codit UK as Technical Director. With over 30 years of IT experience, particularly within Microsoft technologies, Richard has worked in various different roles across multiple organisations, including developer, architect, consultant, team lead and manager. He has extensive experience in integration, having used BizTalk since 2000 and has worked on SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Office 365 as well as Azure.  He is currently MCSA and MCSE certified in Azure and has worked on both Azure Stack Hub and Azure Stack HCI. His first book, Azure Stack Hub Demystified, was released in October 2021.

As Technical Director, Richard’s role covers a multitude of tasks, including team management, resourcing, pre-sales engagement, architectural oversight, strategy, and all things Codit. As well as the technology stack that Codit uses, he was impressed by the culture of the people within the organisation, and for Codit’s plans to grow within the UK. Overall, Richard believes in putting the customer at the centre of all interactions and that the greatest trait for an architect is pragmatism, all of which he believes aligns with Codit’s philosophy.

On the new appointment, Stephen McCormac says “Richard brings extensive experience in cloud solutions and Microsoft Azure to our UK business. He is perfectly suited to lead all of our solutions delivery in the UK.”
