We want each Codit’er to feel that they’re in the right fit, right away. With its sunny weather, gorgeous coastline, and fascinating historical sites, the Codit Malta office has plenty of external perks to offer its employees. But not to be outshone, internally, the friendly Codit’ers on the Maltese team are just as warm as their office’s island climate. And last month, they were excited to welcome their newest team member, Alikan.
Small Island, Big Impact
Just a few weeks ago, Alikan moved from Turkey to Malta to continue his path in IT as a Managed Services Engineer. On the front lines for customers’ continued success, our Managed Services team helps them to maintain their mission-critical back-end integration solutions.
Alikan chose Codit over other companies because of our wide range of solution and support offerings. As we provide a broad array of both services and tech-consultancy , Alikan knew he would have the opportunity to connect with many different kinds of customers and a variety of technologies. He was also attracted by Codit’s international team, saying that Codit’s multi-cultural community means that he “can have many friends all around the world.”
While it was hard to say goodbye to his friends and family back home, Alikan was excited to start this new adventure to learn more about himself and to continue growing with a fresh perspective (not to mention with some fresh air from the Mediterranean Sea).
At Codit Malta, team members can engage in next-level innovation at work and enjoy sea-level recreation at play. Enthusiastic about both types of prospects, Alikan sees Malta as the right match professionally as well as a perfect fit personally: “This place is alive all the time. Since I am a sailor, and I love the sea, it is so nice know that you always have that opportunity to be on a boat.”
Just as excited to have Alikan on board, the Codit Malta team greeted him with a savory reception – celebrating his arrival with a lunch party.
Alikan describes his new team as “so hardworking, respectful, and very informative,” and he’s excited to add his own contributions to Codit Malta’s collaborative efforts.
